Human rights claim

The human rights claim launched in 2003 based on the discrimination that women face under the student loan scheme. The loan scheme has been defended by Crown law. Students will respond by writing a formal response to Crown law's legal opinion and enter into mediation with the Ministry of Education and Crown law. For information about how to be a claimant in the historic case against student debt and the government, contact NZUSA National Women's Rights Officer, Camilla Belich.
